Mortgage/Rent & Water/Sewer Bill Help

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the City of Lenoir and Caldwell County Yokefellow are partnering to provide mortgage/rent and water/sewer bill payment help for City of Lenoir residents. The payment assistance only applies to current or previous City of Lenoir water, sewer, and solid waste bills and current or previous mortgage/rent payments that are behind due to COVID-19.

This program only provides help with City of Lenoir water/sewer Bills or past due mortgage/rent payments for residents who live in the City of Lenoir city limits.

The City of Lenoir is providing funding for this program through grant money. Caldwell County Yokefellow is administering the program for residents. The City received a Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $86,052 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as part of money set aside in the Federal CARES Act. The money can be used to prevent, prepare and respond to needs in the City of Lenoir due to the COVID-19 coronavirus.
