How much is a membership to the Lenoir Aquatic & Fitness Center?

The Parks and Recreation Department offers several different memberships to meet the needs of residents including family, senior citizen, individual, and corporate memberships.

1. What are your hours?

The Lenoir Aquatic & Fitness Center is open Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm, Friday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, Saturday (1st and 3rd Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:pm, others Saturdays from 8:00am to noon. The Lenoir Aquatic and Fitness Center is closed on Sunday. (Hours vary depending on the season.)

The Martin Luther King Jr. Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The MLK center is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Mulberry Recreation Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Mulberry Rec is closed on Sunday.

2. What are your rental prices and availability?

Prices and availability depend on the facility and what customers want to rent. Available rentals include shelters, multipurpose rooms, walking park, pool parties, gym, LHS Auditorium, and more.

3. When can I sign my child up for sports? What sports are offered?

Baseball/Softball: Spring signups for baseball/softball are February to March for Co-Ed 4-5, Boys 6-13, Girls 6-13. Fall signups are July to August for Boys and Girls 8-13.

Basketball: Summer signups for basketball are April to June. Children 8-12 play at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center. Children 13-16 play at the at Mulberry Recreation Center. Fall basketball signups are from October to November for children 4-13.

Soccer: Spring soccer signups are January to February for children 4-13. Fall signups are July to August. Registration is online at www.lenoiryouthsoccer.org

4. When is pickleball? Is there an age requirement?

Indoor Pickleball is offered from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The court is open to ALL ages. If a child under age 12 participates, we ask that a parent remain in the gym with the child.

Outdoor courts are open year round, dawn to dusk.
